Renaissance of education: a new vector of career guidance development in Kazakhstan
Today, Kazakhstan is one of the most attentive countries to education. This is confirmed by international educational conferences in Kazakhstan, such as Edcrunch, and a large number of private schools, whose leaders bring the best technologies and tools from around the world. This confirms how open teachers and heads of educational institutions are to new knowledge. For example, more than 500 teachers from Almaty were sent to Bett Show 2023 (International Specialized Exhibition of Educational Technologies), which was held this spring in London!
And, of course, career guidance as one of the important and promising areas of education is also of great interest in Kazakhstan.
Therefore, the two-day vocational guidance training from the International School of Career Choice “Punkt B” gathered almost 200 participants, including representatives from the Department of Education, private and public schools of Almaty, psychologists, vocational specialists and those who are just looking for career guidance.
On March 18-19, 2023, in Almaty, in the conference hall of the Holiday Inn hotel, world practicing experts Veronika Vinokurova and Natalia Vinokurova held several lectures and master classes, during which each participant was able to try on the profession of a career specialist, try several tools at once and even build a business plan to promote himself as a career specialist.
Some master classes were held in the format of group brainstorming and it was a real co-creation, cooperation and the birth of new ideas for the development of experts in career guidance.
How to ensure a quick and comfortable start in education or career guidance, what and where to learn, to feel confident, where to look for clients and investors and how to build communication with them and many other topics were actively discussed by the participants of the two-day training with the speakers for a fruitful two days.
And after intensive training, those who intend to quickly and qualitatively develop in career guidance together with Punkt B, were able to personally communicate with the founders of the international educational project during a private dinner in one of the authentic restaurants in Almaty.
