In early September, we learned that for the first time the traditional Yandex conference on Yac/e education will be held at two venues at once: in Moscow and in Tomsk at Tomsk State University.
Every year we take part in this conference, as Yac/e traditionally brings up many interesting topics for us: education, the future, the labor market, technology and many others.
We always advise our franchisees, partners and graduates of our courses to participate in this conference.
This year we were very pleased when we were invited to become the leading offline venues in Tomsk and moderators of one of the sessions of the Yac/e online conference, choosing one of the managing partners of the International School of Career Choice “Punkt B” Nata Novoselova among other worthy candidates!

One of the topics discussed at this year’s conference was the search for and understanding of professional identity in the modern world – a world where technology either helps a person become a happy and sought-after professional, or hinders. And they try to take away from him what often forms the basis of the meaning of life of a modern person - work.
Almost a month of preparation, an incredibly cool team of organizers and speakers, 3 books on the topic of the conference, a few edits to the script and ... two incredible days in Tomsk in a community with like-minded people. These two days were spent in interesting dialogues and discussions about technology, education, professional identity and the future, Nata briefly described her Yac/e this year.
The host of the main conference platform Andrey Sebrant owns a great phrase: “Not everyone will be taken into the future!”, he said a few years ago. After this phrase, a lot of events have happened in the world that determine the pictures of the future (yes, friends!). The future is variable, and there are several pictures! and that inspire us to answer the most important question: Who am I and why am I? By the way, there was a lot of philosophy at the conference, because... in an interesting time, friends, we live!
Technology is taking away more and more routine and boring work from us... but what is freeing up our most precious resource, time? Why is the topic of happiness becoming more and more popular? At what point did our work and what we do become the meaning of our lives? Why are we more and more called “experts who help find professional meaning in life”? Why are more and more adults asking themselves the question “Who do I want to be?” and not finding the answer for themselves?
The incredible development of Artificial Intelligence over the past year, which we have seen, poses interesting questions for all of humanity, and conferences like Yac/e, bringing together different experts from different fields, trying to find answers to these questions.
