We share our experience at the City Pedagogical Council with 6,000 teachers
Insufficient communication between participants has been the cause of many problems in our education system. Now the trend is changing: teachers, parents and children are increasingly meeting on the same platform, discussing topical issues.
On August 28, the City Pedagogical Council was held in the Expocentre of Novosibirsk in a new format. It was attended by teachers, schoolchildren and representatives of the parent community of the city.
The organizers held plenary platforms, strategic sessions, master classes and parent meetings.
Four platforms worked for children: “Sport”, “Art”, “Intellect”, “IT”. For schoolchildren, master classes were held municipal and commercial educational projects of the city.
“Punkt B”, Natalia Vinokurova and Natalia Serpionova, held two sections on career guidance for children “Future professions” at the Pedagogical Council. A two-hour master class “How to help a child with a choice of profession: 7 strategies of choice against myths about the ideal job” was prepared for parents and teachers.
Sections and master classes aroused great interest, 600 children and adults visited them.
The City Pedagogical Council-2019 in figures is:
6,000 educators;
• More than 2,000 children;
• 900 parents;
60 educational organizations from different regions of Russia, including Moscow;
• 4 educational sites for children;
• Dozens of different educational workshops.
