Ekaterina Frolova, our franchisee and representative in Kazakhstan, was approached by the mother of a boy who was 14 years old. He was in 9th grade and was obsessed with enduro motorcycles. All his time was spent on their repair and adjustment, he just lived this business.
Parents were worried, because the guy was going to go to college to become a mechanic or electrician, and chose the most ordinary, free college. His parents understood that he needed something more promising, but did not want to break his hobbies.
They made a decision and brought him to our career choice 3.0 training.
There, during one of the assignments, the boy mentioned that he would be interested in becoming a pilot. Ekaterina immediately clinged to this idea and began to develop it: told that you can become not only a pilot, but also an aircraft engineer – a profession that will require the same skills as his favorite motorcycles. He must be able to understand technology, understand mechanics, only the scale of the tasks is much larger.
Gradually, the boy began to realize that his fascination could grow into something bigger and more prestigious. He realized he could aim for a much more ambitious goal than just working as a service mechanic. We helped him believe in himself, and in the end, he decided to taste the dream.
The guy literally “tryed on” the role of a pilot and realized that he felt confident in it. Now he wants to go to the Aviation Institute to become a pilot.
This case once again confirms that our programs help not only to choose a profession, but also to trust teenagers in their abilities and dream bigger.
